Happy 10th Birthday to Us!
As we usher in a new year, Greenhouse celebrates its tenth anniversary. It's a moment to reflect on our journey, which has been extraordinary in so many ways.
By definition, a greenhouse creates optimal conditions for growth. It began in our little store at 5 Macpherson, back in 2014, when we transformed the shop into a bustling mini factory each night. Fast forward to today: our magnificent production team now produces more bottles of Greenhouse in a single day than we produced in our entire first year… the name “Greenhouse” was working its magic.
Over the past year, we have made tremendous inroads toward our purpose of giving people catalytic ways to grow their healthiest lives through daily habits.
We started by doubling down on our commitment to the health of our customers and to that of the planet. We received our Plastic Neutral Certification. We transitioned away from plastic caps and plastic-lined labels, introducing aluminum caps and 100% recycled paper labels, making our packaging 99.9% plastic free, and bringing us closer to our goal of eradicating plastic from Greenhouse and producing the safest, cleanest products on the market.
Our Wellness Shots, Fiery Ginger and Ginger Defence, captured the hearts of Canadians, becoming the number 1 and 2 products in the category nationwide.
We expanded our horizons into the U.S. and are now present in 15 states. Meanwhile, we opened hundreds of new points of sale in Canada.
Our first decade demanded agility, innovation, hard work, resilience, and a whole lot of luck. Navigating the treacherous early years of the business would not have been possible without a phenomenal team, our supportive vendors and shareholders, and of course the profound loyalty and love that you, by being a part of this community, have afforded us. Your unwavering support and belief in our vision have been the driving forces behind our success.
As we step into the New Year and our next decade, we carry with us the spirit of a greenhouse, and we wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy growing season.
